A delegate cannot save three settings of Resource Settings for an Exchange Server 2007 resource mailbox in OWA
In Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, resource mailboxes are
managed by the delegates because the resource mailboxes accounts are disabled
by default. When a delegate configures the
Resource Settings
of a resource mailbox in Outlook Web Access (OWA), the configuration of the
following three settings may not be saved:
- Email messages
- Attachments from meeting requests
- Comments from meeting requests
You expect configuring the values for the three parameters by
using OWA will be saved as normal, instead all three parameters retain the
value set for “Comments from meeting requestsâ€.
Note A delegate can successfully configure and save any of the three
settings individually by using the
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings command in Exchange Management Shell.
This problem occurs because the variables in the client-side
JavaScript are not defined correctly.
To resolve this problem, install the following update
rollup:

and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
