You receive the following error message when you apply two filters in a pivot table in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 with the German Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) installed:
Microsoft Excel kann diesen Vorgang mit den verfügbaren Ressourcen nicht ausführen. Bitte wählen Sie weniger Daten aus oder schliessen Sie andere Programme.
However, the error message that you receive is incorrect.
This behavior is by design.
There is no workaround to make Office Excel 2007 with the German MUI Pack installed return the correct error message.
However, Office Excel 2007 with the English MUI Pack installed returns the correct error message:
The set in the WHERE clause cannot contain multiple measures.
In the corresponding multidimensional expression (MDX) query, you can see the correct error message, both in German and in English.
