Known issues

After you apply this hotfix, Excel Add-in for the SQL Server Analysis Services may not work as expected. For example, you cannot create new reports or edit existing reports. To resolve this issue, you must delete the cached file. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Close the Office Excel application.
  2. Search for the ReportBuilderAddInLib.exd file which is the cached file.
Note This file is usually in the %temp% folder of the user that is affected by this problem. For example, this file is in the %temp%\Excel8.0 folder.
  3. Delete the ReportBuilderAddInLib.exd file.
