PRJ: Changing Calendars That Have Calendar Exceptions
This article was previously published under Q98903
When you make global changes to a Microsoft Project Calendar, these
changes may not be reflected in all dates. Microsoft Project will not
automatically change dates that were selected individually and changed
by selecting the Working and Nonworking options or by changing the
hours in the To and From boxes.
In Project 2007/2010, to make a global change to a day, or days, that contain calendar exceptions, do the following:
- In the Exceptions list, delete the necessary exceptions, and then edit the day(s) in Work Weeks accordingly.
In Project 2003 and earlier versions, to make a global change to a day, or days, that contain calendar exceptions, do the following:
- Reset the calendar and then select the day title(s) (such as "M"
for Monday) at the top of the calendar and edit them accordingly.
NOTE: Resetting the calendar will reset the calendar to Standard
(the default) and all calendar exceptions will be lost.
-or- - Individually change each of the previous calendar exceptions and
then select the day title(s), (such as "M" for Monday), at the top
of the calendar and edit them accordingly.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
